About us

The short distance between DFM, tooling, testing and production just makes it happen.

About Michael Lundbech A/S

Michael Lundbech started the company in 1999 based on his experience as a toolmaker, and a few years later, we started making tools for injection moulding. The first tool we delivered was a fully hardened one cavity tool with polished surfaces, and the lead time was only 4 days. With the skill of maintaining very short lead times, the foundation of a growing company was created. Throughout the lifetime of the company, there has always been a focus on Lean manufacturing to be able to keep lead times as short as possible. In 2007 we began to mould prototypes and parts for testing, mostly within the medical field. Ten years later, with experience from thousands of prototypes, we decided to go all-in on mass production of plastic parts. Creativity has always been a key factor in our projects, growing stronger in combination with a few other factors:

Experience and analysis – Find the issues

Over the years we have gathered experience from thousands of different plastic components, giving us the ability to foresee risks and issues that can occur during production.

Creativity – Solve the issues

We have used our creativity to optimise designs and eliminate risks.

Hands on – Make it happen

The short distance between DFM, tooling, testing and production – just makes it happen.
